Questions

What is the fuss about private school, better quality education, a Christ-centered education? Why is a great amount of money and effort directed to schools outside of the public school system? Isn't one school, one system enough? Why should I consider a school such as Southeast Christian Academy?

The Answer

These are great questions to consider, and many people are asking these questions. To correctly answer them, though, one must consider the best place to find those answers. Whether the topic is a school, education, a business, a policy, a government, or indeed, even a country, the best place to find the most truthful and correct answers is in the place they began. Who is behind the source? What is the source like in terms of character and personality, as a person in general?

So, what is the source of education? Where did it come from, or who begun the process of educating? Since education, or the process of educating, is the manner of acquiring knowledge through experience or study or the act of transferring knowledge by one person to another, one must ask the aforementioned questions in terms of knowledge. Therefore, what is the source of knowledge etc.?

The source of knowledge can be found in none other than the Holy Bible, and the answer is God Himself! The Prophet Daniel said,

"20 Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him.
21 It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to
men of understanding.
22 It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, And the light dwells with Him" (Daniel 2:20-22).

The Apostle Paul makes this statement in his letter to the Colossians:

"2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument" (Colossians 2:2-4).

Other verses that points to God as the source of knowledge are Exodus 31:3, 2 Chronicles 1:10, Isaiah 11:1-3, and Isaiah 40:13-15.

The biggest question of all is, "Do YOU know the source of all knowledge? Not certain? Know for a fact that you do not? Meeting the source of all knowledge - God - is easy!

Before the creating of time, God knew that man would fall into sin. But, God is perfect, pure, and holy. His holiness would not allow man to remain in His presence after the fall. Yet, God's desire to create all things and man was so that man could have a relationship with Him. So, He crafted a plan to redeem man to himself.

God exists in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. After the creation, God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be a man, walk on this earth, and take on the punishment for the sins of this world. Ultimately, Jesus would die on the Cross of Calvary to pay the price of sin. On the third day after His burial, God the Father was pleased with the sacrifice Jesus made, and brought Him back to life. Jesus arose from the grave and returned to His Father in heaven. The final step of God's plan, which is the only part man must do, is accept the gift Jesus offers.

When a person believes that Jesus is the son of God, came to this earth fully as a man, lead a perfect life on earth, died in place of man, was buried and arose again on the third day, that there is nothing man can or cannot do to gain a relationship with God, and confesses these truths, he or she will be saved. This person will then have a relationship with God and will know the source of all knowledge.

To be saved (to gain a relationship with God and know the source of all knowledge), you do not need a priest, a pastor, another person, any special act, or any special words. You simply pray (speak) to God verbally or in your heart and confess you are a sinner in need of a Savior, that Jesus died for your sins, and arose again on the third day, paying the price for you. Your prayer might be:

Dear God,

I recognize that I am a sinner, and salvation does not result from anything I do or do not do. I believe Jesus is the only Way to heaven, and I am
asking You to forgive my sins and be Lord of my life. Thank You, Lord Jesus. In Your name I pray, [your name].

Now that you understand God is the source of all knowledge, we hope you understand that a Christian education is premier because it focuses on and incorporates the source of all knowledge - God. Since most Christian schools are private schools, interest groups, governments, and others cannot dictate what is and what is not taught. Therefore, an education based on Truth and Its Source is provided. More information about the curriculum and our methodologies can be found in About Us.
